Continuous Integration

Continuous Integration (CI) is a development practice where developers frequently merge code changes into a shared repository. Each integration is automatically verified by building the project and running automated tests. CI helps catch integration errors early, improves code quality, and reduces merge conflicts. Popular CI tools include Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, and Travis CI. CI is the foundation of DevOps practices and is typically combined with Continuous Deployment (CD) for automated releases.
